The Official Mercer Reunion Cruise!!!
Our reunion has finally been narrowed down to
Carnival Cruise Line (“CCL”), due to their rates. We are really excited about everyone getting together, as the feedback has been very positive. Cruising is a great way to reunite, see new places and just kick back and
catch up with everyone…
Carnival Cruise Lines, known as the “Fun Ships”, is the largest cruise line in the world. Their ships are very modern and energetic. They are known for their spacious staterooms, which average about 185 square feet. Their ships also have an adult only deck. There are several pool areas with the well known twister water slide. To view their gorgeous fleet, check their deck plans, common areas, staterooms, lounges, itineraries, excursion options, ports of call, etc… please visit their website at Carnival.com
CCL offers activities that fit almost everyone’s needs. For those of you who can't drop your workout routine they have wonderful fully equipped fitness centers, with classes that include yoga and spin. There are also relaxing spas for those of us who need some pampering.
You can expect stage shows, full casinos, night clubs, internet cafes, kid’s clubs, kid’s activity areas and terrific dining choices. There is also miniature golf, basketball, duty free shopping, poolside entertainment, bingo, and karaoke.
As far as dining options, they offer early, late seating and restaurant style open seating. Carnival also has beautiful buffets, 24 hour room service, a sushi bar, pizzerias, yogurt and ice cream dispensers, and specialty restaurants (at an additional charge). It is your all inclusive vacation at sea.
Today’s modern ships are so large and stable; you don’t even realize you are moving. It truly is the best value for a college reunion get together.
Following are a three cruise options with different ports of call. Please keep in mind that several sailing dates have already been closed out. People do book and reserve space up to a year in advance, as there is limited space on quads, suites, connecting rooms, etc. Don’t miss the boat, book now!!! We only have a limited time to decide!!!
After getting responses, the following are our choices as far as dates. The cruise that gets the biggest response within one week will be the ship that we will promote. Prices include cruise fair, port taxes and government taxes and fees. Depending on the price of oil, the cruise line reserves the right to add a fuel surcharge. Other costs you would insure include shore excursions, tips, and alcohol and bar beverages and tips. Any cocktail parties or get together will be added to our final balance.
Also, I can not hold triple or quad cabins without a name and deposit on select cruise, therefore the prices may go up. The same goes for a few select balcony cabins as well.

Thanks!!! Let’s try to spread the word and get as many people as possible onboard. I need to sign a group contract and block our space.

Please note that we prices our Royal Caribbean Cruise, Princess and other cruise. They were over $300 or more for the same itinerary. Therefore, after speaking with others, we decided we would get the best turnout offering these four options. Please check their website and look at the ships, where the cabins are located, the cabin photos, amenities, etc… There is so much information on Carnival’s website. Keep in mind that we need to act on this ASAP. I am going to give my deposit the minute I find out which cruise we select. To give you an idea. We are going to book a balcony, and book an inside directly across from us our twin 17 years, as they will be almost 18 by then. For us, 4 in a cabin is too small. It is up to you, your comfort and your financial situation. I just don’t want anyone who has not sailed before to be surprised by their cabin size. Please read the measurements.
A good idea regarding cost is to calculate your cost per day per person. Some people might think the 5 day is less expensive, put check out all your options. From the feedback I am getting, people want the least expensive cruise available. That would be the 4 night in September. If you want to book that cruise, everyone can do that on their own at their own pace. You can call, make deposits, final payments, etc… on your own time.
